Baked Alaska Cod Chinese Style

(Yield: 4 Servings)

Ingredients:
1/2 lb Alaska black cod (clean and deboned)
1 egg
1 tsp green onions (chopped)
1 tbsp Corn starch
1/4 tbsp Rice wine
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 tsp sugar
1-1/2 soy sauce
1 small onion (chopped)

Preparation:
1. In a bowl, mix egg well with corn starch, rice wine, salt, sugar, onion, and soy sauce. Add black cod piece and marinate for 30 minutes.

2. In a wok, heat oil until hot. Carefully place cod into the hot oil and deep fry until cooked. Remove cod from oil and bake in oven for 5 minutes under 400 deg. F. Remove fish from oven and serve with steam rice.
