Ingredients:
1 lb Potatoes
1 lb Green beans, topped, tailed and sliced lenghwise
3 Cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp Turmeric 
1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper, to taste
1/4 tsp Salt, to taste
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon fennel seed, optional

Preparation:
1. Boil the potatoes until cooked, drain and allow to completely cool. Peel and cut into 1" cubes.

2. Heat the oil in a large non-stick or cast-iron pan over a medium heat.  When it is hot, add the fennel seeds. Let them fry for a few seconds, add the spiced paste. Stir for 2 minutes.

3.  Add the potato cubes and beans, stirring continuously, over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes or until the beans are tender. Serve hot.
