Ingredients:
1  medium chicken
 -----Marinade-----
1/2 cup tamarind water
1  tbsp. clear soya sauce
1  tsp. ground ginger
1  tsp. ground coriander
1  clove of garlic, crushed
1  pinch of chilli powder
1  pinch of turmeric

Preparation:
1.  Cut chicken into serving proportions.

2.  Mix all ingredients of marinade mixture, and then marinade the pieces of chicken in this mixture for at least 2 hours.

3.  Strain the chicken, so that the marinade drips away from it.  Then deep fry the portions, 4 or 5 at a time.

4.  Excellent when served with Nasi Goreng (fried rice).
