Prawn Curry (Udang Cari)...

1 tbsp. Oil
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 Cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp. turmeric
1/2 tsp. lemon grass
1 tsp. sambal oelek
1/2 tsp Shrimp paste
1 tsp. salt
1 cup coconut milk
1 lb shelled frozen prawns
Preparation:
1. Heat oil and lightly saute onion and garlic.
Add turmeric, cummin and lemon grass. Stir and add sambal oelek, shrimp paste and
salt. Stir again.
2. Add coconut milk and bring to a boil. Lower heat
and add prawns. Simmer uncovered for 15-20 mins.
3. Serve with rice. |
