(Yield: 3 servings)

1 1/2 lb. fish, cleaned
3 green onions, chopped
2 black mushrooms, soaked and thinly sliced
1 tsp. sesame oil
1 tbsp. dry sherry
2 tsp Japanese soy sauce (preferably Kikkoman)
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tbsp ginger, thinly sliced
1 tbsp cooking oil
Preparation:
1. Place the black mushroom on top of fish in a deep plate and steam above boiling water
for 15 minutes. Remove from heat, then top the fish with ginger and green onion.
2. In a seperate pan, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, cooking
oil, sugar and cook for 1 minute. Add the dry sherry and remove from heat.
3. Pour the sauce over the fish and serve. |
