Beef Briskets In Spices Sauce
(Yield: 4 Servings)

Ingredients:
11/3 lb beef brisket
2 spring onions, chopped
2 tbsp sesame oil

---Spiced sauce ingredients---
2 star anises
1 slice cinnamon bark
2 slices ginger
2 spring onions
11/2 tbsp crushed rock sugar or granulated sugar
1/3 cup light soy sauce
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
3 tbsp wine
3 cups water

Preparation:
1. Parboil beef brisket in boiling water for 15 minutes. Rinse and wipe well.

2. Heat up 1 tbsp of oil in saucepan. Sauté ginger and spring onions. Pour in spiced sauce ingredients and bring to boil. Add brisket and bring to boil. Simmer over low heat for about 2 hours. Add in sesame oil after stewed for 11/2 hours. Stew until meat is tender.

3. Dish and cool brisket aside. Slice and dish on plate, Sprinkle with chopped spring onions.

4. Remove excess fats from spiced sauce. If sauce is too thickened, add in some water and bring to boil. Serve brisket with some sauce on top.
