Ingredients:
1/2 lb Lean pork (thinly sliced), or chicken
1/2 lb Fresh asparagus (or can white asparagus)
5 cups Chicken broth
1/2 small Onion (thinly sliced)
2 tsp Fish sauce
1/2 tsp sugar
1 green onion (chopped)
2 Cloves Garlic (minced)
2 tsp Cilantro (chopped)
2 large Eggs (beaten)
2 tsps Corn starch
2 tsps Cooking oil

Preparation:
1. In a bowl, combine the pork with 1 tsp of fish sauce and 1 tsp sugar and marinade for 30 minutes.

2. In a saucepan, bring 2 tsps cooking oil to hot.  Add sliced onion and pork and sauté 30 seconds.  Add chicken broth, cover, and bring to boil.   Reduce heat and skim off any foam on the surface.  Add in the asparagus and continue to cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.

3.  Slowly stir in the egg, then corn starch, and the remaining fish sauce.  Simmer  for 1 minute.   Add in green onion, mix, turn off heat, transfer to bowl, and serve garnish with fresh chopped cilantro.
